Colgate Camp

Students in Core 128/FSEM 124 develop mitigation strategies for reducing CO2e from Colgate University as part of Colgate’s Climate Action Plan. On the trip students learn about Colgate’s Carbon Footprint and how to develop a Climate Action Plan from our Sustainability Coordinator, John Pumilio. Students research and make recommendations on how to reduce Colgate’s CO2e emissions and help make Colgate a carbon netural campus! We do this in the backdrop of the Adirondack Mountains! We stay in Colgate Camp  is a lovely former camp with cabins, a large eating area and game room in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains on Saranac lake.

Here are some photos from the past few years at Colgate Camp!
